Our area has experienced many improvements this spring and summer that will better serve our guests and residents. We have seen numerous improvements to our highways, and bridges throughout the state. Our municipality has worked diligently on improving the infraestructure, to keep up with our constant growth.

Since first visiting here in 1992 I have seen the population of Los Cabos grow from 50,000 residents to over 250,000 today. There are numerous projects under construction currently and many more planned for the near future which should further increase our population.

Los Cabos means, The Capes, and they are, Cape Saint Lucas, Saint Joe of the Capes and Cape Pulmo. Our municipality sprawls over 160 km of coastline, spanning from Buena Vista on the Sea of Cortez to San Christobal, situated 15 km north of Cabo San Lucas on the Pacific Coast.

We welcome 67 commercial and 3 private Jets daily, accounting for most of our visitors. The construction of a second runway will allow us to double the air traffic into our area. A European Terminal has begun construction which will further increase the traffic. Many visit us by automobile, or arrive by one of the more than 100 cruise ships that visit here annually.

The tremendous poplularity has created a resort that is convenient to most centres in North America, while offering the tropical weather and charm of a latin American country. We continue to enjoy investment from throughout the America's as well as Europe and Asia.
